The first project under this program will launch this spring on two and a half acres in Taos County in the Spring of 2023, and will involve several intensive workshops with professional builders within the Taos, New Mexico community and beyond. Clean Water for the Huni Kuins (active):

Deep in the Brazilian Amazon, in the state of Acre, the Huni Kuin people and adjacent tribes have asked us to help them create clean water for a better quality of life for their communities. E.A.R.T.H. recently fundraised to hire a well company who traveled for days along a river on small boats deep into the jungle to drill three working wells in one of the Indigenous Huni Kuin villages. There are many more Indigenous villages like this one that have expressed a need for clean drinking water, most of which drink from muddy water holes. The director of this program will visit these villages to bring solar electric to the wells this Spring. We will continue fundraising while he is there communicating with surrounding villages about their needs for clean water and help them reach their goals.
